another weekend

so i've gotten through another weekend and nothing has broken! yay!

i was visiting the little sis and her fam on saturday. went to "trade days" in seguin, put some business cards on a table for roodles orginals notecards -- www.roodlesoriginals.com. i did the website for the designer and in return, she's promoting my services. we'll see if i get any business from it. i have to get my site up and running -- it's on my list of 'to-do's.

other than that, got stuff done in the house, painting, cooking, laundry -- "nesting" as my mother calls it. i need to get the guest room ready for a visit from my father at the end of the month, so that's a priority. if only i could make the HUGE desk in that room just disappear, i'd be happy. alas, that won't happen, so i'm stuck with having to move it out. once that's done, i can get down to business in that room. so that's top of my list for next weekend.
